KL Rahul's poor form leads to meme

KL Rahul got out for another low score on Sunday as his horrid form in Test cricket continued. With India needing 115 to win the Delhi Test and take a 2-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Rahul got out for 1 off 3 balls with spinner Nathan Lyon getting him caught behind. So far in two matches of the series against Australia, the Indian opener has scored just 38 runs in three innings while in six Tests since the start of 2022, Rahul has amassed just 175 runs in 11 innings. With Shubman Gill being in top form in ODIs and T20Is and having scored his maiden Test ton in Bangladesh in December, there are high chances that the opener from Punjab will replace Rahul at the top of the order in the third Test against Australia which is scheduled to be played in Indore from 1 March. WTC Final 2023: Marcus Labuschagne has a rude, hilarious awakening WTC Final 2023: 'Thoroughly deserved winners', Congratulatory wishes pour in after Australia beat India in title clash Rahul has already been facing a lot of criticism including from former India pace Venkatesh Prasad who has been asking for him to be dropped from the Test side. After Rahul got out for 17 in the first innings of the Delhi Test, Prasad wrote a long thread on Twitter attacking the opener and his selection. “And the torrid run continues. More to do with the rigidity of the management to persist with a player who just hasn’t looked the part. No top-order batsman in at least the last 20 years of Indian cricket has played thes...

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be facing Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 29th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday, 21 April at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Despite the team facing injury setbacks this season, CSK have managed to perform convincing and currently stands in the third position. IPL 2023: As fans gear up to witness the thrilling match on Friday evening, it is expected that Chennai will continue to perform well and make an attempt to climb up the points table. At a time when players like Deepak Chahar, Ben Stokes, and Moeen Ali have been made to sit out for a couple of games due to injuries, former India spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has made a strange and bizarre comment, leaving internet users confused and irked at the same time. This came after former CSK batter Subramanian Badrinath shared a tweet seeking guesses on who will be the highest run-scorer from CSK against SRH. To this, the former cricketer responded by naming Chahar. While he didn’t leave any reason behind his response, social media users were quick to notice the same and started expressing their reactions. Check his response: Bro thinks he's funny — Roshan Akthar 🇮🇳🇵🇹 (@RoshanAk262002) Notably, this is not the first time that the former cricketer has made such a bizarre comment. Earlier, when commentator Harsha Bhogle praised David Warner for his impressive strike against KKR, Sivaramakrishnan went on to take a dig at Bhogle mentioned Phil Salt, and tweeted, “Salt s...

Twitter Inc. fired more than 90% of its staff in India over the weekend – part of global reductions by new owner Elon Musk – severely depleting its engineering and product staff in a potential growth market. The company employed just over 200 people in India, and the cuts left it with just about a dozen staff, people familiar with the matter said, asking not to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter. "1st Photo Of New Parliament Building That Came Out Was...": Sharad Pawar

Aurangabad: Stressing the importance of dialogue in Parliament-related activities, Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar on Tuesday said the decision on the new Parliament building could have been taken through talks with political parties. The senior NCP leader was speaking in a 'Sauhard Baithak' (meeting to foster amity) at Mahatma Gandhi Mission University in Maharashtra's Aurangabad. There has been a general decline in engaging in dialogue for parliamentary activities, he said. Earlier too, he said, political parties had differences but they tried to resolve them through dialogue. "I didn't understand why there was a need for a new Parliament building. The decision about it could have been taken through dialogue (with political parties). But I learnt about the new building through newspapers," he said. As many as 20 Opposition parties stayed away from the inauguration of the new Parliament building which was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 28. The Congress accused the PM of treating the inauguration like a "coronation". Without naming anyone, Mr Pawar said, "Key persons from the government do not regularly attend Parliament sessions. If the head of the government comes to Parliament someday, that day feels different. Parliament is above all. If importance is not given to it, people's perception (of it) also gets impacted." Calling himself the leader of a "small" political party in Parliament, Mr Pawar said, "We (opposition) demanded to invite th...
