The actor was shifted to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad from Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi, for better treatment last week. He was diagnosed with ‘Acute On Chronic Liver Failure’ there and advised to undergo liver transplantation. Stating that he needed blessings of everyone, fellow actor Sritam Das tweeted that his condition continued to remain critical last afternoon. A family member was supposed to donate liver to Nanda, but that did not work out due to mismatch of blood group and various other reasons and he passed away during treatment at the hospital around 11:25pm.
