The Full form of AFI is Amniotic Fluid Index. This is an ultrasonic test present for the checking of Amniotic fluid count in the body of the individuals. Also, the test happens by dividing the uterus into 4 quadrants. These quadrants aren’t actually present there but are imaginary for the ease of the test of AFI. The test is majorly on the victim of several diseases. The four parts are like left and right as well as the upper half and lower half. Additionally, the linea nigra divides the uterus into left and right. However, the umbilicus divides the upper and lower half. Furthermore, the test is a part of the biophysical profile of the patient. The AFI determines the fertility level of the uterus and the mother too. The AFI levels should be somewhere around 8 to 18 in the given test. This will ensure a safe passage for the mother and the baby. Since the atrioventricular (AV) node doesn't prevent all of these chaotic signals from entering the ventricles, the heart beats faster and irregularly. Atrial fibrillation (A-fib) is an irregular and often very rapid heart rhythm (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots in the heart. A-fib increases the risk of stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. During atrial fibrillation, the heart's upper chambers (the atria) beat chaotically and irregularly — out of sync with the lower chambers (the ventricles) of the heart. For many people, A-fib may have no symptoms. However, A-fib may cause a fast, pounding heartbeat (palpitations), shortness of breath or weakness. Episodes of atrial fibrillation may come and go, or they may be persistent.
