Later, Mariam escapes and after a lot of turns meets Ali. They slowly develop feelings for each other and Ali, Mariam and the children reach Ali's home. Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul shooting had stopped after 20-year-old Tunisha Sharma’s sudden demise by suicide on the sets of the show. The makers have resumed shooting and now the show will see a new entry in Abhishek Nigam. Abhishek will be seen in the lead role of Ali Baba, which was previously played by Sheezan Khan. A new promo featuring his entry has been released. However, the face hasn’t been revealed in the promo yet. The makers released the promo announcing, “Something big coming up, stay tuned.” They have also changed the name of the show from Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul to Ali Baba: Ek Andaaz Andekha Chapter 2. The promo gives a glimpse of the new character on top of a building and it reads, “Wapas aaraha hai woh.” For the unversed, after Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the sets of the show, where she played the lead, the makers didn’t replace her character. With prime accused Sheezan Khan in jail, the makers planned to introduce a new story line with Abhishek Nigam as the new face.
