Notably, UP Warriorz signed Heal for Rs 70 lakh at the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL) auction in Mumbai. Healy is one of the most lethal openers in the world. The UP Warriorz, one of five teams in the 2023 WPL, assembled a dynamic and well-balanced squad at the WPL Player Auctions in Mumbai on 13 February, including six overseas players, including Australia's Healy. Healy, one of the sport's most recognisable faces, is a highly experienced and seasoned campaigner, having appeared in 139 T20Is for Australia, scoring nearly 2,500 runs with one century and 14 fifties.
