The eye-wateringly expensive spy thriller series, which comes from Hunters creator David Weil and Citadel won't be giving James Bond or Netflix's The Night Agent any sleepless nights. And yet, despite us thinking it's not worth a spot on our best Prime Video series list, many others do. In fact, Citadel is the second-most watched Prime Video Original TV show outside of the US (it's also the fourth most-streamed series in America), so it's clearly resonated with subscribers. And, with Citadel season 2 greenlit, plus its first spin-off – Citadel: Diana– set to arrive in 2024, you can expect Amazon's Spy-Verse to grow, regardless of whether you enjoyed it or not.
