We were a group of 5 couples and 7 children and had booked 7 deluxe rooms .The rooms and washrooms are neat with about 220-240 sq ft space in total. The location of the property is ideal ...with just about 300 mtrs from MG road. The breakfast spread was very limited and average but the food and service was good and appreciable. We we're allowed all 7 right rooms on one floor and had a whale of a time . Infact the open space between rooms was turned into some sort of a living room by us, where we danced, sang and made merry and had a ball of a time. But for our big group, we would have found the hotel just decent enough to spend time in Gangtok....nothing luxurious about it...... We visited Gangtok during the Christmas week. Booked this hotel through Booking.com. I'll note the Pros and cons for easy understanding. Pros: 1. Mr. Amrit, the manager, is a lovely person, going out of his way to manage the stays. He even helped procure some medicine for my kid pretty late at night. So thank you very much again. 2. I reached Gangtok a day before my scheduled arrival, but they were accommodating enough and gave us a much larger room at the same price! 3. The hotel is bang on the main road, so no problem in accessing cabs/buses from here. Also it's just a few mins walk from M.G. Marg & Laal Market, which is the main tourist spot in Gangtok. 4. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. 5. The top floor rooms have a great view of the valley OR the main road (mine was a road facing one with a side view of the mountain). 6. The food, though VEG ONLY, was delicious and room service was prompt. 7. The rooftop restaurant has a great view of the valley. Cons: 1. I spend here three nights and four days with my Family.The hotel & rooms are nice and clean.
