अंबिकापुर में हनुमान मंदिर सरगुजा: अंबिकापुर के कंपनी बाजार के पास बजरंगबली का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर है. इस मंदिर में मंगलवार को सैकड़ों श्रद्धालु पहुंचते हैं. इस मंदिर में मंगलवार के दिन हनुमान जी को घी और सिंदूर का चोला चढ़ाया जाता है. शनिवार को चमेली के तेल और सिंदूर से चोला चढ़ाया जाता है. इससे शनि की शांति होती है. हनुमान जी को बेसन का लड्डू और रोट काफी प्रिय है. जिन भक्तों की मन्नत पूरी होती है वे बजरंगबली को रोट चढ़ाते हैं. आटे को गुड़ में मिलाकर घी में तली हुई पूड़ी को रोट कहा जाता है. हर मंगलवार हनुमान चालीसा और सुंदरकांड का पाठ: इस मंदिर में राजेश कुमार पाठक 30 साल से पूजा कर रहे हैं. पुजारी राजेश कुमार पाठक ने बताया " मंगलवार के दिन हनुमानजी की पूजा करने से सारे कष्ट दूर हो जाते हैं. मंगलवार को मंदिर में काफी भीड़ रहती है. सुबह 5 बजे से रात दस बजे तक मंदिर खुला रहता है. शाम को मंदिर में सुंदरकांड का पाठ होता है. पिछले 37 सालों से सुंदरकांड का पाठ लगातार हो रहा है. मंगलवार को सुंदर कांड और हनुमान चालीसा का पाठ करने से शनि से शांति मिलती है. वैसे तो हनुमान चालीसा और सुंदरकांड का पाठ हर रोज करना चाहिए लेकिन ऐसा नहीं कर पाने पर हफ्ते में एक दिन मंगलवार को जरूर करना चाहिए. हर मंगलवार को मंदिर में भंडारा भी होता है."
