छत्तीसगढ़ सरगुजा के लमगांव में स्थित हनुमान मंदिर एक प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक पर्यटन स्थल है, यह स्थल बहुत रहस्यमयी है। ऐसा कहा जाता है की मंदिर में रखी मूर्ति का आकार समय के साथ बढ़ रहा हैं, जब इस मूर्ति की स्थापना मंदिर में की गई थी तब लगभग 1-1.5 फीट का था लेकिन अब बढ़कर लगभग 3 - 4 फीट का हो चूका है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण वर्ष 1995 में हुआ था। हनुमान मंदिर लमगाँव में अन्य पूजे जाने वाले देवता इस स्वयं प्रकट हनुमान जी के मंदिर के सामने ही ही राम दरबार है जिसमें भगवान राम, सीता, लक्ष्मण जी की मूर्ति है साथ ही राधा और कृष्ण की मूर्ति को भी स्थापित किया गया है। इस राम दरबार में दीवारों पर रामायण से जुड़े चित्र बनाये गए हैं जो बहुत ही ख़ूबसूरती के साथ रामायण की कहानी को बताते है। रामायण का पाठ करने के लिए 04 पुजारियों को नियुक्त किया गया है जो बारी बारी से 3-3 घंटे तक दिन रात पाठ करते हैं। इसके अलावा इस मन्दिर की सबसे ख़ास बात यह की यहाँ वर्ष 2002 से 24 घंटे रामचरित मानस का पाठ किया जा रहा है साथ ही अखंड दीप प्रज्वलित किया जा रहा है। हनुमान मंदिर, लमगांव से जुड़ी रोचक कहानी लमगांव स्थित स्वयं प्रकट हनुमान जी की मूर्ति से जुड़ी कहानी बहुत ही दिलचस्प है, ऐसा माना जाता है की बाबा त्रिवेणी नाम के एक व्यक्ति थे जिनके सपने में हनुमान जी ने दर्शन दिए और कहा की वे एक पेड़ में फसें हुए उन्हें बाहर निकालें, ऐसा सपना उनको कई बार उसके बाद बाबा त्रिवेणी जी उस पेड़ के पास गए और उस पेड़ को काटकर देखा तो दंग रह गए, सच में वहाँ हनुमान जी की मूर्ति थी। इसके बाद मंदिर की स्थापना की और मूर्ति को स्थापित किया गया है, कई सालो बाद पता चला की मूर्ति के आकार में भी बदलाव हो रहा हो है और समय से साथ बढ़ रहा है। इस बात से लो...

The Mahamaya Devi Temple enshrines an amazing dual statue of Goddess Mahamaya Devi-the front image of `Mahishasuramardini` and also a rear statue of Goddess Saraswati which is supported by 16 columns. Mahamaya Devi temple is surrounded by an 18-inch thick perimeter wall. Most of the statues and motifs used in the temple have been taken from the remnants of certain ancient temples, among them some are also Jain temples. The main complex of the temple has other smaller statues of Goddess Kali, Bhadrakali, Surya, Lord Vishnu, Lord Hanuman, Bhairav and Lord Shiva. It is said that the first puja and `abhishek` of the Devi was performed by Kalinga King Ratna Dev in 1050 AD. A popular belief among the devotees is that, one should visit the Kaal Bhairav Mandir before visiting the Goddess Mahamaya Devi as Kaal Bhairav is regarded as the doorkeeper of the Devi. बुधवार की दोपहर बाद करीब ढाई बजे झगराखंड रोड स्थित हनुमान मंदिर में एक मुस्लिम युवक घुसा। इस बीच मंदिर के सामने स्थित कपड़ा प्रतिष्ठान के मालिक व हनुमान मंदिर समिति के सदस्य 70 वर्षीय किशन चंद गुप्ता ने अपनी दुकान से आरोपी युवक को मंदिर में प्रवेश करते और कुछ पल के बाद मंदिर से संदिग्ध तरीके से वापस जाते देखा तो चोरी की आशंका होने पर उन्होंने मंदिर के अंदर जाकर मुआयना किया। हनुमान की प्रतिमा से चांदी का मुकुट गायब था। आनन-फानन में उन्होंने मंदिर सेवा समिति के अन्य सदस्यों व आसपास के लोगों को इसकी सूचना दी। किशन चंद गुप्ता ने बताया कि युवक को मंदिर से निकलकर बाजार की ओर जाते हुए उन्होंने देखा था। इस पर उन्होंने स्वयं युवक का पीछा किया और उसे मेन मार्केट स्थित राम मंदिर के पास पकड़ लिया। पूछताछ में युवक ने अपना नाम फिरोज बिजुरी (मप्र) होना बताया। इसके बाद वे आरोपी को अपने साथ लेकर मंदिर पहुंचे। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में युवक मंदिर के अंदर प्रवेश करते और बाहर निकलते दिखाई पड़ने पर आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए उसे पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया गया। मंदिर समिति के सदस्यों ने बताया कि चोरी गए चांदी मुकुट की अनुमानित कीमत करीब 10 हजार रुपए है।
