Hours before the bail hearing of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drugs case, some new WhatsApp chats have surfaced showing that Aryan discussed a cocaine plan with two others. Another chat also revealed Aryan talking about weed with actor Ananya Panday. It is said that Ananya was called for questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on the basis of these chats. In one chat, Aryan Khan asked Ananya Panday, "You brought the weed?", to which Ananya replied, "I am getting it." NCB claims that prima facie it appears that Ananya used to supply drugs to Aryan. A second chat from the same date shows Ananya writing to Aryan, “Now I am in the business.” Ananya: now that I am in the business Aryan: you brought the weed? Aryan: Ananya Ananya: I am getting it In another chat exchange, Aryan mockingly threatened his friends that he will get the NCB to take action against them. It is learnt that these chats are now being used by the NCB to question both Aryan and Ananya. While Aryan is currently spending time behind bars at the Arthur Road prison, NCB has questioned Ananya twice in connection with this case and has also raided her house once.

By Saurabh Vaktania: After recovering the chat messages exchanged between Aryan Khan and Ananya Panday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) suspects she had supplied weed (ganja) to him. The chat show three instances when the two had discussed weed. The NCB sources said that the recovered chats date back to 2018-2019 when the two discussed the supply of weed on three occasions. Three different dates have been identified by the NCB. On two of these occasions, weed supply was for Aryan Khan and once for a common get-together. All these three chats pertaining to different dates are extremely important for the NCB, which will once again question Ananya Panday on Friday. Both the phones of Ananya Panday have been seized by the probe agency. While one handset is an old one, the other was bought a few months ago. NCB will be recovering all the data from both phones. Ananya Panday will be questioned on drug consumption and supply. NCB sources have said Ananya Pandey appeared confused while answering some of the questions and said she does not remember. Senior officers from the NCB said the chats of Aryan Khan and Ananya Panday reveal some conversations related to drug supply. There is also one video that was shared between the two.
