After being a part of the sitcom for several years, he quit TMKOC reportedly due to a rift with the producer. It was then reported by various media outlets that the actor had a tiff due to non-payment of dues and he decided to take the legal route in this matter. ASIT MODI REACTS TO SHAILESH LODHA'S COMPLAINT Talking to the leading publication, the producer clarified that his team followed up with Shailesh urging him to complete the formalities. “That’s how it is in every organisation. However, he didn’t agree to complete those formalities. When you work together for so many years, minor disagreements and clashes are bound to happen. We had a minor tiff over it in April last year, after which he never returned to shoot,” Asit said. New Delhi: On Thursday, actor Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played Mrs Roshan Sodi, in the TV show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' (TMKOC), revealed that she quit the show and accused producer Asit Modi, Project Head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of alleged sexual harassment at the workplace. The makers have now denied the allegations and called it a lie. Producer Asit Modi denied the allegations and said that the makers sacked the actress from the show. , "This is just a fake and baselessallegationand it holds no truth. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah maker Asit Kumarr Modi has reacted to Jennifer Mistry’s sexual harassment allegations. In his official statement, Modi called these accusations ‘baseless’ and said that he will take legal action against the actress. “We will take legal action as she is trying to defame me and the show both. Since we terminated her services, she is making these baseless allegations,” he said. Sitcom’s Project Heads Sohil Ramani and Jatin Bajaj also reacted to the shocking allegations and claimed that Jennifer’s contract was terminated because of her ‘bad behaviour and indiscipline’.
