Auto Expo 2023 recorded over 6.36 lakh visitors: Highest

Auto Expo 2023 was kick-started at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida on January 11 and its doors were opened for the general public on January 13. The 16th edition of India’s flagship motor show witnessed a record turnout of over 6.36 lakh visitors. Moreover, a total of 82 vehicles made their global/India debut during the exhibition. Lexus unveiled the new RX500h for India, which will be available in two powertrains, including the F Sport version, while Toyota showcased a host of models including the Prius, the new Land Cruiser, the Corolla, and the Mirai. It was not all cars that stole the limelight though, as Volvo Eicher showcased its electric bus that has a range of 500 km while it can be fully charged in 45 minutes. The Day 1 of the Auto Expo 2023 concluded with some top unveils by top brands. The day started with Maruti Suzuki unveiling its Concept EVX and concluded with Tata Motors showcasing Tata Harrier EV, Tata Seirra EV and Tata Curvv petrol version. Luxury car brand Lexus revealed its diesel SUV, Lexus RX 500h and Toyota showcased its Prius, Mirai and flex fuel prototype. Toyota also unveiled its Land Cruiser LC300 at the motor show. MG Reveals MG4, Its EHS Plug-In Hybrid South Korean auto maker Kia Motors unveiled Concept EV9, KA4 MPV and Kia Carnival while Hyundai launched Ioniq 5 at an introductory price of Rs 44.9 lakhs and showcased Ioniq 6 EV and BYD showcased Seal and launched Atto 3. As the unveiling event starts shortly for Tata Motors, the indigenous automobile maker is expected to launch the concept Punch EV, while the production version would come later in the year. It was 2020 when the India Expo Mart is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh near the JP Golf Course and within easy reach from central Delhi and the international airport via the eight-lane Greater Noida Expressway. There's also easy access via metro train, and personal and public transport. General public hours will be 11 am - 8 pm on the 14th and 15th January, 11 am to 7 pm on 16th and 17th January, and 11 am to 6 pm on the 18th January. Entry at Gates will be closed before 1 hour of closing time of all the days and entry into halls will be closed 30 minutes before closing time on all the days. Entry ticket prices will be announced soon. Auto Expo 2023 FAQs: The Auto Expo 2023 is returning after three years of absence due to the pandemic. It last took place in February 2020, a month before the pandemic restrictions set in. Now that the auto bonanza is returning, auto enthusiasts from around the country are looking forward to this event. The venue is accessible by personal transport, public transport and by Metro. By road you can use the Noida - Greater Noida expressway and take the Knowledge Park exit which is before the Pari Chowk round about on the expressway. Those travelling by Metro will have to get to the Knowledge Park 2 Metro Station on the Aqua Metro line from there they can use public transportation like a cab or e-rickshaw to get to the venue. For those coming using their personal vehicles there will be parking arrangements which will be avaialble on a first come first serve basis.
