According to the police, the accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a resident of Delhi, Ajay Kumar, Reeta Devi and Geeta, residents of Azamgarh. Police said that Kumar had rented an accommodation in Azamgarh a couple of months ago where he used to invite people and persuade them to convert to Christianity, reported the Indian Express. After receiving information, Bilariyaganj police launched an investigation. During investigation, it was revealed that the accused were offering money to locals to convince people to adopt Christianity. "We conducted an inquiry into the complaint and found the allegations to be true...We will check how many people the accused were able to get converted," Vijay Prakash, Bilariyaganj Station House Officer (SHO), was quoted as saying by the English daily. Police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. The minor son of the deceased woman has been shifted to his maternal grandmother. The accused identified as Devendra got married to Pratima around 13 years back. It is alleged that Devendra quite often used to indulge in domestic violence against Pratima after drinking. Devendra is said to be a drunkard and created ruckus after he came home drunk.

Azamgarh News: आजमगढ़ के रौनापार थाना क्षेत्र (Raunapar police station) में एक स्कूल प्रबंधक की घिनौनी करतूत सामने आई है, जहां के एक स्कूल के प्रबंधक ने कक्षा 7 की छात्रा को कथित तौर पर उसके कमरे में अकेले आने का आदेश दिया और जब वह नहीं पहुंची तो उसने उसकी जमकर पिटाई की. इस घटना का वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है. मामला केवल इतना ही नहीं है, जब पीड़िता अपनी मां के साथ थाने में आरोपी प्रबंधक के खिलाफ केस दर्ज कराने पहुंची तो पुलिस ने इस मामले में उस पर समझौता करने का दबाव बनाया, इसके बाद अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक के हस्तक्षेप के बाद पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज किया. घटना का वीडियो हुआ वायरल मामला सोहरा भार स्थित ओम शांति शिक्षा निकेतन का है. पीड़िता छात्रा का कहना है कि प्रबंधक उस पर बुरी नजर रखता है, इसलिए उसने उसे कमरे में अकेले आने के लिए कहा था, जब वह उसके कमरे में नहीं गई तो उसने अन्य सीनियर छात्राओं से उसका झगड़ा करा दिया. इसके बाद उसने उसके साथ मारपीट भी की. पीड़िता की पिटाई करने का किसी छात्र ने वीडियो बना लिया और उसे वायरल कर दिया. पुलिस ने किया प्रबंधक को बचाने का प्रयास वहीं इस मामले में पीड़िता की मां सुनीता यादव ने कहा कि जब वह अपनी बेटी से मारपीट की शिकायत लेकर स्कूल पहुंची तो उनके साथ भी मारपीट की गई. प्रबंधक यहीं नहीं रुका उसने सुनीता यादव के घर पर आकर भी उनसे मारपीट की. सुनीता ने कहा कि जब वह इसकी शिकायत लेकर रौनापार थाने की महुला पुलिस चौकी पहुंची तो उन पर मामले में समझौता करने का दबाव बनाया जाने लगा और उनसे सादे कागज पर दस्तखत भी करा लिये गए. कार्रवाई न होता देख पीड़ित परिवार ने जिला मुख्यालय पहुंच कर एसपी ऑफिस में गुहार लगाई. वहीं अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण राहुल रोसिया ने कहा कि...
