I'm planning to travel to Rameshwaram -Kanyakumari- Madurai during 21-Dec to 27-Dec (7 days) from Bangalore. I need help to know how are road condition to these places from Bangalore. Also need suggestion to visit any nearby good places to visit as I'd be driving my Please suggest if this route is ok or any better route. When you are driving from Bangalore you can reach either Kanniyakumari or Rameshwaram only via Madurai. You need only few hours at Rameswaram - except Temple and rituals, nothing else to see or to sspend time. You stay at Madurai - Drive to Rameswaram and Back on the same day. next day you can proceed to Kanniykumari from Madurai. After Kanniykumari, you have to make provision to stay at Madurai and then go to Bangalore as it will be very tedious from Kanniykumari to Bangalore. Roads are Good between Madurai to Kanniyakumari, Kanniykaumari to Bangalore. Rameswaram road is always Crowded and narrow roads.
