The Government of Telangana has declared TS Public Holiday List for the calendar year 2022. The list of holidays in Telangana for the year 2022 is completely different from the previous year’s list of holidays. The holidays declared by the government are applicable to both private and government employees. There will be 23 public holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act and 28 general holidays for government offices along with five optional holidays out of 23 notified holidays for occasions / Further, all the State government offices will remain closed on all Sundays and Second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2022, except the Second Saturday (12.02.2022) in the month of February, 2022 which will be a working day in lieu of public holiday declared on January 1, 2022. If there is any change of date in respect of Idu’l Fitar, Idu’l Azha, Muharram and Id-e-Milad as per the moon sight or any other holiday declared now, it would be announced in advance prior to the holiday.
