Netizens were up in arms after they were unable to pay online and had to make a trip to the BBMP office instead. Residents can pay their property tax for FY 2022-23 without penalty and interest before June 30. However, some netizens noted that the problem was more prominent with people trying to make the payment after April 2022. Vijayvergia had in a Facebook post stated that he has been unable to make the payment for the past two months as the page would throw up an error stating “Payment is refrained due to missing Street Name.
