4th Edition is Consist of 3 Volumes Preface In July 1996, I had gone to the office of CBS Publishers and Distributors to hand over the manuscript of the third edition of our Textbook of Histology, when Mr SK Jain, Managing Director of CBS, requested me to shoulder the responsibility of editing the three volumes of their extremely popular book BD Chaurasia’s Human Anatomy, the third edition of which was earlier edited by respected Prof. Inderbir Singh.
