2020 Benelli BN 600i revealed: Targeted at the European market?

The 2020 Benelli BN 600i has been unveiled. It seems like the motorcycle was developed for the European market and it might very well be the mid-weight Benelli motorcycle European riders have been waiting for. This motorcycle might also be launched in the Indian market. Well, to be honest, we want it here. Benelli has been a significant player in the 600cc naked sportsbike segment, especially in Asia. Though it hails from Italy, it has been doing very well in the Asian markets. The Benelli TNT 600i is one of the best-selling products in the 600cc segment, even in India. Benelli recently revealed the facelifted TNT 600i for select international markets. The motorcycle has been received well in Asian markets. However, the facelift was not launched in Europe and this could be due to the stringent emissions norms. The European Union has implemented stringent Euro 5 emissions norms that require vehicles to be cleaner and greener. The Benelli BN 600i that has just been revealed looks like it will meet the new norms without any difficulty. The Benelli BN 600i features a sharper design with a split LED headlamp up front. The cuts and creases near the visor make the bike look more aggressive. The tank panels and side panels get a new design and so does the rear. The rear of the motorcycle looks neat with an LED tail lamp and swingarm-mounted tyre hugger with integrated registration number plate holder and indicators. Other changes between the TNT and BN 600i include the exhaust sys...

2017 Benelli TnT600 Tornado Review

When it comes to naked inline-Four 600cc streetfighters, Benelli’s TnT600 Tornado is in a class of its own due to an absence of competitors. Similar motorcycles exist in parallel-Twin form from Honda ( CB500F $6,099), Kawasaki (Z650 $6,999), FZ-07 $7,199), and a V-Twin from Suzuki ( SV650 $6,999), but each of those is two pistons shy of the four-cylinder Benelli. However, just last week Honda announced that its four-cylinder CB650F (a naked middleweight based on the faired CBR650F) will be imported to America beginning this August for the 2018 model year. A price has yet to be announced, but we expect an MSRP around $8k. For anyone currently shopping in this range of price and performance, we urge you to sit tight a while longer because we have a shootout brewing between most of the aforementioned models (sans the just-announced CB650F). From it we’ll decipher strengths and weaknesses, and how each compares to the other. Until then, consider this single-bike review of the Benelli an appetizer to the main course. The TnT600 isn’t a new model, originally announced circa 2006, and made public at the 2012 EICMA show after Benelli had been purchased by the Qianjian Group. The underseat exhaust rage of the time indicates the TnT600’s age, and there’s even a family resemblance to the earlier, more exotic Producing a claimed 82 crank horsepower should put the TnT in the mix of rear-wheel horsepower of the The Benelli’s front end must contend with a variety of riding situations fro...

"Noisy Boy"

Ignition. I was maybe 3 years old when I first remember the image of a MotoGP race. I am not sure if it was in TV (unlikely that DD news would show clips of Moto GP back then) or a photo in a magazine but a rider going full tilt, knee grating against the road astounded me. Back then my father used to ride a Bullet and I used to be perched on the tank as often as I could manage. I begged him to do what I had seen on the bike. Of course we never did that. To compensate for it I used to make believe that when I did a piggyback ride on my mother or father, they were motorcycles instead of conventional animals and take out engine sounds. I was a slow learner. Very slow learner. When I was 6 it took me more than 2 months of practice to learn how to ride a bicycle without training wheels. But I knew I was one step closer to my ultimate goal. I have to admit though; it still astounds and intimidates me as to how one can balance these machines. It just feels wrong, but oh so right too! And here we go… I started riding a motorcycle at the age of 16. I cut my teeth on a 1998 old-school (gear on the right side) Bullet Machismo 350. My father was of the opinion that learning on this bike would give me the confidence needed for other lighter bikes. At that point my dream bike was the recently launched Karizma. It was frankly out of our budget. With a heavy heart I settled for a CBZ when the time came. Not that the first gen CBZ was a slouch and I realise that I was extremely fortunate t...
