Bharat Darshan Park envisages to give a glimpse of the architectural marvels of India at one single destination. The park features 21 monuments having historical significance, all re-created from metal scrap. This park is synonymous with the Government of India’s Swacch Bharat Mission and employs the Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle principles to transform waste into pieces of art. Born out of the need to bring about a positive change through meaningful art, our expert team of artists and environmentalists uses sustainability and recycling as a tool to touch people’s lives. • All monuments are made entirely of metal scrap. • Unique experience for visitors to learn about India’s culture and heritage across its states. • Built on a sustainability model and uses electricity produced from solar panels. • Lush green surroundings and a walking track of almost 1.5 km. • Savour fast, fun, and delicious Indian cuisine at the in-house Food Court Bharat Darshan Park is envisaged as a cultural, entertainment, educational and heritage experience. The park features monuments from across the length and breadth of India by showcasing its rich heritage and culture. All the monuments are made entirely out of scrap/waste metal as a part of the Waste to Art Initiative. It aligns with the thought of our hon’ble Prime Minister for the “Swachh Bharat Mission”.

Also known as Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to lord Laxinarayan. The temple is inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi .It was the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi. The temple is spread over 7.5 acres, adorned with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden with Hindu and Nationalistic sculptures, and also houses Geeta Bhawan for discourses. The Rashtrapati Bhavan ( formerly "Viceroy's House") is the official residence of the President of India located in New Delhi, India. This vast mansion has got four floors and 340 rooms. Mughal Garden is one of the most significant historical gardens in Delhi, It is located inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan Complex. Mughal Garden is famous for the wide variety of flowers, some of which are rare . This is a seventeenth cetury mosque located at the western end of the oldest street of Delhi. The mosque is built using red sandstone and has a fluted dome with mahapadma and kalash on the top. Flanked by minarets, the mosque has a traditional design with the prayer hall having seven-arched openings. The mosque has single and double-storeyed apartments on the sides. The SAnsad Bhavan is the house of Parliament of India which contains the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha located in New Delhi. Delhi's Bharat Darshan Park With Replicas Of 21 Monuments To Open By October

New Delhi: Delhi's much-awaited 'Bharat Darshan Park' that will have replicas of 21 monuments from across the country is likely open by October and is expected to have an entry fee of around Rs 100, officials said. The park, spread over 8.5 acres, is being developed by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) in west Delhi's Punjabi Bagh at an estimated cost of Rs 14 crore. SDMC officials said that the 'Bharat Darshan Park' is being developed on the lines of the municipality's already functional 'Waste to Wonder Park' and like here, all monuments at the new park have also been built using scrap material from vehicles. "Leaving aside the construction of a walking track and some plantation work, most of the major construction work has been completed. Finishing touches are required. Everything will be finished soon, and we are hoping to open the park for visitors latest by October," a senior SDMC official said. Like the 'Waste to Wonder Park', visitors will have to pay some entrance fee for the 'Bharat Darshan Park' as well, he said. "Entrance fee for the park is yet to be decided, but it is likely to be around Rs 100," the official said. Three new parking lots to curb traffic snarls near Punjabi Bagh park

New Delhi: The Bharat Darshan Park has added to the congestion around Punjabi Bagh crossing on the Ring Road with hundreds flocking to the park every day, leading to traffic snarls. Officials aware of the matter said lack of parking for visitors to the park has emerged as one of the main factors leading to traffic jams specially on weekend, public holidays and evening hours. HT Image To resolve the problem, the engineering wing of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) plans to develop three multilevel parking lots in the vicinity to provide parking space for more than 663 vehicles. The three multilevel parking sites will come up near Punjabi Bagh Club Road, the existing municipal crematorium and inside the Waste to Art park, which was opened in December last year, the officials said. A senior MCD official said that two parking sites have been approved by the standing committee while Delhi Development authority has handed over 2300 sqm land on Club Road for building the third parking lot. “We have hired a consultant to recommend how to best utilise this space for parking and decongest the stretch,” the official said. Currently, the visitors to the park park their vehicles on the Ring Road adding to the congestion on the busy intersection. “This network of multilevel parkings will also cater to several buildings in the vicinity that witness footfall.
