Indian Railways to introduce Bharat Gaurav tourist train to several divine destinations in Southern India

The Ministry of Railways has introduced ‘Bharat Gaurav Trains’ to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage by connecting important historical, cultural and religious places of the country through railways. Till date, 29 trips of Bharat Gaurav Trains have been operated across the length and breadth of the country. Taking this novel initiative ahead, Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will commence the “Sri Rameshwaram Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra” from Sabarmati station on June 23, 2023. The trips will span over 8 days. For more details & online booking, one can visit Sri Rameshwaram Tirupati Dakshin Darshan Yatra The yatra will start from Sabarmati and will cover five divine destinations in a tour of 7 nights and 08 days (from 23rdJune to 30thJune, 2023). The tour package will cost Rs.27,500/- for Standard 3AC and Rs. 15,900/- for Economy Sleeper Class per person. The Yatris in the train will get a unique opportunity to visit Tirupati, Rameshwaram, Madurai andKanyakumari. The next Bharat Gaurav Train from Secunderabad will be connecting pilgrimage circuit of Mata Vaishnodevi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, etc from June 10, said Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development Of North East Region G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday. After flagging Ganga Pushkarala Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train at Secunderabad railway station in the presence of General Manager Arun Kumar Jain, DRM Abhay Kumar Gupta, IRCTC Group General Manager P. Raj Kumar and others, Bharat Gaurav Trains have evoked a great response from the people of two Telugu States. The Bharat Gaurav exclusive tourist train is all set to start its Jyotirlinga Yatra. The ‘05 Jyotirlinga Yatra’ of 8 nights and 9 days will begin on February 4, 2023. Travellers can board and deboard in Udaipur, Jaipur, Chaderiya, Bhilwara, and Ajmer. The special Bharat Gaurav tourist train will be journeying over Veraval, Pune, Dwarka, Aurangabad, and Nashik.
