BHOPAL: The state cabinet headed by chief minister "Under the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Self-Employment Scheme, bank loan interest subsidy will be given for manufacturing ventures ranging from Rs one lakh to Rs 50 lakh. For service-oriented ventures, the interest subsidy will be given for loans ranging from Rs one lakh to Rs 25 lakh. Annual income of the family taking benefit of the scheme should not exceed Rs 12 lakh," the home minister Narottam Mishra informed media after the cabinet meeting, "Under the scheme, interest subsidy at the rate of 5% per annum and bank loan guarantee fee at the prevailing rate will be borne by the government for a maximum period of 7 years on the loan disbursed by the bank to the beneficiaries," Mishra said. Members of the scheduled tribes who are not income tax payers, aged between 18 years and 55 years, will be eligible for the Tantya Mama Economic Welfare Scheme. Bank loan subsidy of 7% and loan guarantee fee will be given for all self-employment ventures ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh. The interest subsidy will be for a maximum of five years. In this, it has been decided that loans ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh will be given to the youth who want to start their business or thier small industry. The government will guarantee five per cent interest subsidy,” Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister said at SC-ST Business Conclave Expo-2022. Chouhan said, that in Bhagwan Birsa Munda Swarojgar Yojna, there is Rs 50 loan will be provided and also interest subsidy will be given by the government. “We are building a Global Skill Park in Bhopal in collaboration with the Government of Singapore.
