Karnataka Election Result 2023 winners: Check Full list of BJP, Congress, JDS, winning Candidates

Congress has taken an unassailable lead in Karnataka. The party is currently leading on 120-plus seats, more than the required number to form the government in the southern state. As per the latest ECI data, Congress has got 42.93 per cent vote share, BJP has 36.17 per cent vote share, while JD(S) has around 12.97 per cent vote share. Almost all prominent candidates like Siddaramaiah (Varuna), DK Shivakumar (Kanakapura), and Priyank Kharge (Chittapur) are leading from their respective seats. DK Shivakumar has secured over 70 per cent of counted votes. New Delhi: With just three days left for the deadline of filing nominations for the May 10 Assembly elections in Karnataka, the ruling BJP on Monday announced candidates for 10 more constituencies. The party has fielded state BJP General Secretary Mahesh Tenginkai from the Hubli-Dharwad Central Assembly segment, which was represented by former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who joined the Congress today upset that he was overlooked for the contest by the saffron party. BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali's wife Manjula Aravind Limbavali to contest from Mahadevapura. In three seats, family members of party leaders have been given tickets. While former Minister and MLA Aravind Limbavali's wife Manjula Arvind Limbavali has got the ticket for the Mahadevapura Constituency, the party has fielded Katta Jagadish, son of former Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu from Hebbal. Koppal Lok Sabha member Karadi Sanganna's daughter in-law Manjula Amaresh has been made the candidate from Koppal Assembly segment. Karadi Sanganna himself was a ticket aspirant from the segment and had planned to quit from his Parliament membership as well as from the party over delay in the ticket announcement. In Bengaluru's Govindraj Nagar, Umesh Shetty has been given the ticket. The high-octane Karnataka electoral battle is a triangular contest between the three parties where the BJP is aiming to retain power in the state while the Congress is looking to win the seats it lost in the last election. The elections will be held in a single phase on May 10. Check full list of BJP, Congress, JD(S) candidates and their constituencies. Key candidates: Incumbent CM and BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai will contest from Shiggaon constituency, former CM Siddaramaiah will be contesting from Varuna seat, KPCC chief DK Shivakumar to contest from Kanakapura seat, former CM BS Yediyurappa’s son BY Vijayendra is contesting from Shikaripur seat, while BJP has given ticket to Yashpal Suvarna from the sensitive Udupi seat. Another prominent candidate is disgruntled BJP-turned-Congress leader Jagadish Shettar, who will be contesting from Hubli-Dharwad Central constituency. The last day for filing nominations was April 20 and last day of withdrawal of nominations is April 24. There are a total of 5.21 crore voters in Karnataka, which includes 2.59 women voters and 2.62 crore male voters. Of the total voters, 16,976 are above the age of 100, 4,699 are third gender and 9.17 lakh are first-time voters, the Election Commission said.
