A First Look at the Bond 25 Suit Style – Bond Suits

We have our first look at Daniel Craig’s tailored style from the still-untitled Bond 25, and there are few surprises. Prince Charles paid a visit to the Bond 25 sets at Pinewood Studios on the 20th of June, and the press came with him to take many photos of the occasion. For this occasion Daniel Craig is dressed in character as James Bond in a black and white Glen Urquhart check suit. Bond 25 has a new costume designer, an American named Suttirat Anne Larlarb. Larlarb is a frequent collaborator of Bond 25’s original director Danny Boyle and was hired for Bond 25 when he still was to helm the film, and she stayed on with the production after Boyle’s departure. Tom Ford, the suit brand from all of Daniel Craig’s Bond films except Casino Royale, has returned for Bond 25 and many styles from Skyfall and Spectre return for this film. Though Jany Temime, the costumer designer from the previous two Bond films, did not return for Bond 25, many of the styles that she established for Bond are still present. This possibly signifies that Daniel Craig made many of the tailored wardrobe choices for his previous two Bond films since he is still dressing the same without Temime. Neither Larlarb nor the film’s stylish director Cary Joji Fukunaga have put their stamp on this outfit. This consistency in the tailored style is a welcome change for Craig’s Bond, who wore three different tailoring styles designed by three different costume designers throughout his first three Bond films. Daniel ...

Bond 25: cast, writers, villain, and first plot details, revealed

Like all 007 missions, the end of 2015’s Spectre made a promise: “James Bond will return.” And so he will: On Thursday morning, in a livestream event hosted beachside in GoldenEye, Jamaica, the island destination at which writer Ian Fleming wrote his first 007 novel, producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson welcomed Daniel Craig back to the role of Bond for the 25th installment . Also confirmed as returning to the cast are Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Jeffrey Wright as CIA agent Felix Leiter, and French actress Lea Seydoux, who co-starred in Spectre as Dr. Madeleine Swann, daughter of the mysterious Mr. White character. Suiting back up as Bond in the 2020 release seals Craig’s legacy; the 51-year-old leading man is now the actor to have remained in the franchise the longest, outlasting Roger Moore, who held the mantle for 4,526 days over his seven sequels. In a huge coup for the franchise, Bond 25 will pit actor Rami Malek against Craig’s Bond. After gaining notoriety for his role on USA’s Mr. Robot, Malek won an Oscar earlier this year for his work as Freddie Mercury in the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody. The film earned over $896 million worldwide. Also joining the cast are Billy Magnussen ( Game Night, Netflix’s Maniac), Ana De Armas ( Blade Runner 2049), David Dencik ( Top of the Lake), Dali Benssalah ( A Faithful Man), and Lashana Lynch ( Captain Marvel). Details were scarce on exactly what Bon...

James Bond 25 Cast Revealed: Rami Malek Confirmed – The Hollywood Reporter

Logo text What has been known for several years simply as In a special announcement on Thursday, producers Bohemian Rhapsody and rumored as the main villain for some time, was officially confirmed, alongside Spectre, plus Spectre‘s Rory Kinnearand Jeffrey Wright, who appeared in Quantum of Solace, while newcomers include Blade Runner 2049), Billy Magnussen ( Game Night), Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch ( Captain Marvel) and David Dencik ( Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy). However, for those hoping for a title — the subject of much online speculation — Wilson said that keeping it a secret was “a tradition” (although Spectre‘s title was revealed during its official launch). Instead, fans were given details of the plot in which Bond is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica after leaving active service. But his peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. Fukunaga said the locations would include Jamaica, Norway (where the team has already shot), Pinewood and London before finishing in Italy. Bond 25, from longstanding 007 gatekeeper and producer Eon, is set to be released in the U.S. on April 8, 2020, by Rather than the usual press conference at the U.K.’s Pinewood Studios, considered 007’s spiritual home, the announcement was made via live stream from Jama...

Bond 25: Release Date, Cast, Spoilers, Theories, Story, Villain

Following 2015’s ‘Spectre’, which did not live up to expectations in my opinion, speculations were aloof, especially given the nature of the film’s ending, that Craig would not be returning to the role. Amid Sam Mendes and the next in contention, Danny Boyle, stepping down for the sequel, and Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve withdrawing from consideration, the search for a new Bond would have been unwieldy, and the producers thankfully knew better than that. Daniel Craig was roped back in to reprise his role of the suave British Intelligence Agent, and the 25thBond film, currently in production, was announced. Read on to find out everything that we know about it. No Time To Die Plot: What is it About? The official synopsis of the film states that Bond would have retired from active service following the events of ‘Spectre’, enjoying his time off in Jamaica, a place that Barbara Brocolli, the producer of the film, has stated to be a sort of spiritual refuge for Bond. His tranquility and retirement are both threatened when his CIA comrade Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) turns up and enlists his help on a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist. The mission, of course, turns out to be much more than what either of them bargained for, putting them on a collision course with a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology. Reading the synopsis, it becomes clear that this villain will most probably be a new threat; and not a returning one from Bond’s mysterious past...

Bond 25: Everything We Know About the New James Bond Movie

James Bond is back. On Thursday morning, the creative team behind the still-untitled 25th Bond movie revealed some crucial details about the much-anticipated flick, which is rumored to be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final installment. In an announcement video live from Jamaica, where the film is currently shooting, Craig and company finally let a few things slip. Here’s what we know so far. What's the Name? We thought we might have found out the title at today’s reveal event, but alas, producers opted to keep us waiting a little longer. There were rumors that it might be called Shatterhand, an alias that classic Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld once used in the novel You Only Live Twice, but producers shot that down. Honestly, Bond 25 sounds pretty cool as is. But the real title will probably be something dark, ominous, slightly confusing, and very British. Who Is Playing James Bond? Slaven Vlasic // Getty Images James Bond is sick of being James Bond—or at least the guy who plays him is. Despite Craig’s 14-year reign as the consensus Best 007 Ever, the actor has been publicly threatening to hang up his three-piece suit since the last Bond flick, 2015’s Spectre, going so far as to say that he’d rather “slash his wrists” than ever play the secret agent on the big screen again. In the intervening years, it’s been fun to speculate about which star could step into Craig’s shoes: Idris Elba? Maybe Richard Madden? Perhaps one of the Toms, from Hiddleston to Hardy. But money talks,...
