Brahmastra VFX breakdown video shows CGI Shah Rukh Khan, reveals how they lit Ranbir Kapoor on fire. Watch

Ranbir Kapoor and Several sequences featuring Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan were filmed in front of a blue screen. The finished product, which gave the audience a top-notch theatrical experience, was designed for the big screen. It was earlier reported that Brahmstra featured almost 4,500 VFX shots. The video also showed how Shah Rukh’s character was created entirely in computers for one shot, and how the final battle sequence combined in-camera footage shot on soundstages with digital environments. One of the fans said, “ For me, Brahmāstra was truly a very magical and inspiring experience. I still can’t believe that an Indian movie pulled off a concept of this scale with such spectacular VFX.” Another said, “I am happy that I saw this movie in the theatre in 3D. It was so magical and wonderful. I am ready for more movies from Astraverse.”

What Role Does Shahrukh Khan Play In Brahmastra?

The film is the first of a trilogy, with this one being Part One: Shive. It stars Ranbir Kapoor as Shive, who is falling in love with Isha, played by Alia Bhatt. However, their happy lives have a wrench thrown between them when Shiva learns of his divine power and dark forces begin to move against him. Along with those two superstars, we also have Amitabh Bachchan, Ayan, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, and more. The film plans to introduce an MCU-like Astraverse, which will get many expansions from hereon. Moreover, from what we have seen in the trailer, it boasts what might be the best VFX we have ever seen in a Bollywood film. Brahmastra release date The film is coming to theaters on September 9, 2022. However, since this is a Star production, it will also come to Disney+ later for streaming.

"We wrote that in our credits, 'Eternally grateful to Mr Shah Rukh Khan'. Sometimes, people come and do something so generous and large-hearted. There is no way to ever repay what Shah Rukh Khan has done on 'Brahmastra'. Unanimously, one of the favourite things in 'Brahmastra' has been Shah Rukh sir's sequence," Mukerji told PTI in an interview here.
