BSNL has announced launch of new lifetime plan with auto validity extension. The new plan will cost Rs 8 and has an initial validity of 180 days. The plan will be available to BSNL subscribers in all circles. The plan comes with a call rate of Rs 1/min for local and Rs 1.5/min for STD calls. This plan is only available for new subscribers and migration to this plan is not available for existing subscriber. On reaching the expiry of the validity, it will be extended automatically by deducting the plan voucher amount of Rs 8 from their balance. Customers with balance less than the plan voucher will be reminded through SMS/IVR to extend their validity before expiry.
