Burhanpur jalebi is one of its own kind. Their maawa/khawa jalebi is very famous. Its is dark brown in colour due to deep frying of maawa. It is somewhat similar in taste with Kala Jamuns. The taste is very delicious. If someone is a Jalebi lover then they must try Burhanpur Jalebi.One fact that many of us dont know is that in english *Jalebi* is called as *Syrup filled rings* I had Burhanpur jalebis many time from here and it was awesome in its initial days, but my last experience was very upsetting. Dont know exactly what happened but the jalebis lost their tast OR may be quality was not good only at that time but now I am purchasing jalebis from them anymore. But I think Ill again give it try in some time and I hope Ill be able to change my ratings. Just one suggestion I have for the owner that you were the best Burhanpur jalebi maker in Amravati please dont compromise the taste over anything affecting it... The mawa jalebis here suck . I had it as I love jalebis but they were the worst ones I ever had . They were over sweetened and there was a layer of white fat all around in my mouth after having those . Moreover, the taste was not good. They are fried in hydrogenated vegetable oil(dalda) which is very harmful for health . And these are surely prepared in unhygienic conditions. .
