Astrologer Dr Krishna Kumar Bhargava recommends following rules for Vat Savitri Vrat. Savitri Vrat 2022: How to Perform Rituals 1. Wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear a red saree. 2. Clean the place of worship under the banyan tree. Sprinkle 3. Now fill the saptadhanya in a bamboo basket and place the idol of Lord Brahma in it. Fill the saptadhanya in the second basket and place the idols of Savitri and Satyavan. Place the second basket to the left of the first basket. 4. Keep both the baskets under the banyan tree. Apply an imprint or pitha of rice flour to the tree. 5. During worship, offer water to the roots of the tree and the tie the sacred thread around it 7 times.
