BUTTERFLY: The Prequel to THE HUNGER GAMES Moves Into Production With New Working Title

Prequel to The Hunger Games Moves Forward as Butterfly A greatly anticipated prequel to the The Hunger Games films will be going into production with the working title, Butterfly. Suzanne Collins’ fairly recent 2020 literary work, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is moving forth into production as a movie and the title currently being used for the picture is Butterfly. Late last summer, it was revealed that the hugely popular Collins book (which is a prequel to her immensely successful The Hunger Games series) would be made into a film by the studio Lionsgate. The Butterfly Effect

College student Evan Treborn (Ashton Kutcher) is afflicted with headaches so painful that he frequently blacks out. But changing the past can drastically alter the present, and Evan finds himself in nightmarish alternate realities, including one where he's locked away in prison. I couldn't handle the extreme sexual and sadism content running through it within every character throughout the otherwise unique concept of flashback time-travel to change the outcome of the present (in negative ways that is) and Kutcher cannot act right with a freakout. This only slightly touches on the real intriguing aspects of the butterfly effect. If they were to dive into head first you'd be looking at a really long movie, but it would be a definitive version.
