IRCC invites 4,800 candidates in latest Express Entry draw

Express Entry in 2023 Express Entry throughout 2023 has not yet established a strong pattern in terms of the number of candidates invited, the frequency of draws or even the type of draw. January draws followed the pre-pandemic pattern of being two weeks apart and inviting candidates from all programs. This changed in February when IRCC held four program-specific draws between There were three draws in February, and one draw each week in March. Over 21,000 candidates were invited throughout March. Canada Issues 4,800 Express Entry Invitations In New All

Canada has issued 4,800 Invitations to Apply in a new all-program Express Entry draw. The June 8 draw featured a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 486, two points lower than the previous all-program draw. This was Canada’s ninth all-program draw of 2023. It has also conducted four Provincial Nominee Programs draws and one targeted at Federal Skilled Worker candidates. Canada has now issued 55,449 ITAs in 2023 after inviting 45,115 candidates in the whole of 2022. IRCC issued a record 114,431 ITAs in 2021, to all Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program candidates. It beat the previous record of 107,350 set in 2020. Canada has a record immigration target of 465,000 for 2023. The latest draw saw the tie-breaking rule implemented on May 19, 2022, at 10.04 am EST.
