CAFE CATS AND COFFEE Welcome to the Tree House Humane Society Cat Cafe – a place to meet cool cats, drink great coffee, and connect with friends. All the cats in our Cafe Lounge are 100% adorable and 100% adoptable! Make a reservation today – all ages welcome! ( Children under the age of 15 are required to have a parent or guardian 18 years or older accompany them for the duration of their appointment.) Walk-ins are welcome to grab a cup of coffee during business hours, but you won’t be able to meet the cats without an appointment. DRINKS Our fully stocked cafe includes a variety of milk, coffee, and espresso choices! Anytime our cafe is open, you can swing by for a dose of catfeine – no appointment required. (Walk-ins will only have access to purchase coffee. To spend time with our resident cats, an appointment is required and can be booked below .) Eric Carle is no doubt one of the world’s most celebrated children’s book author. And, there’s a whimsical cafe in Ginza, Tokyo based on his beloved book, A Look Inside The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cafe in Tokyo The cafe is called the Hara Peko Ao Mushi Cafe (Hara Peko for short), based on the Japanese title はらぺこあおむし/ Hara Peko Aomushi. Books like Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See include bold, eye-catching illustrations and repetitive storytelling that is perfect for young native speakers and EFL learners. I legit can turn The Very Hungry Caterpillar or Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See in a 20-30 minute lesson. That’s how flexible the source material is. (Fun fact – whenever I did a demo lesson/interview for a teaching job, The Very Busy Spider is always included in my sample lesson.) As a mother, I enjoy doing storytime with my little monster. I love this place! I’ve lived here all my life, and have never been inside, and now I regret not coming sooner. The atmosphere is amazing, there are so many tea/coffee options, the staff is attentive, so kind, and quick. There are couches for you to sit on if you don’t want to sit on chairs at a table, and there are also card/board games for you to play with people! Absolutely perfect shop! Full of creative artwork and kind people. I did not catch my server’s name but he was fun, kind, and super sweet! It was my first time in the shop, and he asked my drink preferences and recommended a delicious blended coffee. Wonderful experience and a perfect atmosphere to vibe in. We asked for recommendations and were met with silence, was asked if I wanted whip cream (of course) and didn’t recieve it.
