The video shows Guruji sitting in the lobby of the hotel when two men approached him. As one of the men touched his feet to distract him, the other launched a vicious attack with a knife. The other man joined the assailant within seconds in stabbing Guruji who kicked and punched in vain to save himself. Police claimed the victim was stabbed over 50 times all over his body. They have arrested two people for the crime -- a former employee of the Vaastu practitioner and the husband of another former employee. Who was Chandrashekhar Guruji? He had started his career as a contractor and later got a job in Mumbai. He later started his Vaastu business that became a success. (Image Credit: Twitter) Karnataka: Saral Vastu exponent Chandrashekhar Angadi alias Chandrasekhar Guruji was stabbed to death by two unidentified people at The President Hotel in Hubballi on Tuesday, reports news agency ANI. The assassins had come disguised as his devotees to the private hotel in Unakal near Hubballi city in north Karnataka, police said. According to the police, the culprits took Guruji’s blessings by touching his feet first when he was at the hotel reception. Catching him unaware, the miscreants then stabbed him repeatedly. Police said that he was stabbed multiple times in the chest and abdomen. When he collapsed in a pool of blood, the murderers fled the spot. Hubballi and Dharwad Police Commissioner Labhu Ram, who is handling the investigation, said the murder was caught on hotel’s CCTV. Visual from the spot. Preliminary investigations suggest that the killers had fixed an appointment with him and had planned his murder. CCTV footage shows one of them stabbing Guruji. As per the police, the killers stabbed Guruji more than 50 times. The motive for the killing is yet to be ascertained.
