Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot announced the 'Universal Health Coverage' in the state during his 2021-22 budget speech, in compliance with which Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana was started in Rajasthan from May 01, 2021. Under the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Yojana 2021, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh is given to every family in the state, in which all families and age-groups of the state are included.
