By Mustafa Shaikh: Shiv Sena (UBT) party's mouthpiece Saamana, on Wednesday, lambasted an advertisement put out by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, that appeared on the front page of newspapers on Tuesday. The headline of these advertisement was ‘Modi for India and Shinde for Maharashtra’. The editorial said that till now, the Shinde-Fadnavis government has spent Rs 786 crore of public money on advertisements. “The good thing is now there is a clarity as the real face of the people who were claiming to be loyalists of Balasaheb has come out (as Balasaheb's photo was not there in the advertisement). The question is, those who couldn't stay loyal to Balasaheb, will they be loyal to Modi?” the editorial said. Commenting on the advertisement, the editorial said that the state’s deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis’ photo was not seen anywhere and Shiv Sena Pramukh Balasaheb Thackeray‘s photo was also missing in the advertisement. “It’s being said that the advertisement was not a government advertisement.
