JEE Main cutoff are released as the minimum and maximum cutoffs. To briefly define, the minimum cutoff is the percentile required for the candidate to be eligible for the JoSAA counselling (for NIT, IIIT, and GFTI only). On the other hand, the maximum cutoff is the percentile above which the category reservation of a candidate will stand cancelled and the candidate will be treated and admitted under the general category. The cutoff is not declared session-wise. Your NTA final score (higher amongst the two sessions) is to be considered while cross-checking your cutoff and not the average of the two sessions.
