Raut claimed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had asked Shinde to drop six key ministers of the Shinde-led Shiv Sena citing non-performance and controversy as reasons. NEW DELHI: Addressing a joint press conference, Fadnavis said that he will not be a part of the Maharashtra government but will extend full support. Fadnavis made the announcement after meeting governor B S Koshyari at Raj Bhavan and staking claim to form the government. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Raj Bhavan at 7:30pm. "Eknath Shinde will be the Maharashtra chief minister, oath ceremony to be held at 7.30pm today. After the swearing-in ceremony today, we will have a cabinet expansion and Shiv Sena and BJP leaders will take the oath. I will stay out of the government," Fadnavis said.
