In an ongoing photographic project, London-based photographer Francesca Jane Allen captures stunning and fragile portraits of girls. Taken in a number of locations since the photographer was 17, Girls Girls Girls features young adult women often by themselves in revealing shots. Some of the shots include nudity, while in others the girls are posing in a way that indicates intimacy in a less obvious way. The now 21 year old photographer's portraits of girls are extremely honest and expressive. She describes her work as being a mix of documentary pictures and thoughtful portraits. As the artist grows up and changes, so do her subjects as "the photos are as much about my adolescence as that of my subjects."
