We have been shopping at Abids Darpan for all our home furnishing needs. They certainly have the best collection of fabric. Despite it been so crowded most of the time, every sales person is very professional, patient to hearout customers taste, preferences, budget etc. They will never push you into buying unnecessary stuffs. I was attended by Mr Pankaj. He sat with us for more than 3hrs to chalkout the entire look of our living room. Later I realised he was the branch manager. I was amazed by his knowledge and his patience towards us. Visiting Darpan is always a pleasure....the best quality and designs of furnishings, artifacts, curtains, blinds, wallpapers and much more are all found under one roof here. And the staff there is very courteous... the process from selections to actual execution on site is very smooth and hassle free. Good luck to you all My experience while visiting the store was amazing. The varieties in the fabrics and cloths were very vast and that is what caught my eye. The cloth that I bought from the store is also very good and it gave a nice look on the product that I used for, I was impressed with the service and the vast variety in the fabrics. These are absolutely the worst business owners available in the market. I got the curtains of my house made by them. Withing a few months the strings of the blinds started coming out. The roller blinds material got spoiled.. and the material of the curtains started fading. When i called to them asking for servicing. They suggested 1500 as the fixing charges.. And when I asked them that how come the things started coming out so soon. They said that they will get spoiled after exposure from sunlight. A ridiculous answer ,.. Plus they were extremely rude Darpan neither reflects good design, service, or attitude; please dont get drawn to this mirage. I got sofa covers and curtains made from this place. The material is overpriced, but I assumed the service will be superior. I find exactly opposite: "Darpan is the overpriced address for the underpriced service". Specifically: - The sales people have severe attitude problem. - The tailor does a very shoddy job. I gave him embroidered cloth to create borders and he stitched them wrong side up. - The sales guy forgot to include some material costs until the very end. Just before delivery he became sentimental saying, he'll get into trouble if the manager finds out that he forgot. So I had to pay so he can be in the clear. - The stitching is ... very poor, I had to pay extra to another tailor for rework. - There is no trace of apology for their mess-ups or any inclination to avoid future mess-ups.
