Death Calculator

How does this death calculator work? First of all the above tool is meant to be a death clock designed to make people enjoy their time and their life even more. It is based on the average life expectancy for each country - gender specific, as well as on few general conditions meaning health conditions and life standards that finally have an impact on our time presence on Earth. The death calculator was designed for entertainment purposes ONLY and not to influence people in any negative way. It takes account of the following data that should be provided: - Date of birth; - Gender; - Country; - Smoking status; - Any heart disease status; - Sleeping well status; - Drinking alcohol status; - Other major diseases status; - Lifestyle status; - Personality. By taking account of the data provided it adds to your birth date the average life expectancy and then by case computes your life conditions in order to present the following results: - a presumably death date with no scientific proof; - a death clock showing how much time you have left expressed as a countdown. The death clock presents the time left in different time measurements. That means the death can be either considered as a death clock in months, in weeks, in days, in hours, in minutes and even a in seconds. Example of a result: Let’s take for instance the case of a male born on June 15 1980, from UK, he is a smoker but has no heart disease and no other major disease, he sleeps well and often drinks alcohol. He rates h...

DEATH CLOCK

Time is indifferent. Life is limited. Death Clock is a serial NFT reminder of the impermanence of human life. Your age, gender, screen time, and other data become your expiration date. Measured on the blockchain and counting down to zero, your personal Death Clock NFT estimates how much time you have left on Earth and stores your date and time of death on-chain. Death Clock NFTs can be bought and sold, but with each transfer the clock is reborn and the reseller receives a new soulbound NFT for life. From the capitalist commodification of time, to transness, climate change and raving the pain away, in this inaugural essay commissioned by Death Clock, theorist McKenzie Wark muses on the death-related anxieties of our time. McKenzie Wark is the author of A Hacker Manifesto, Gamer Theory, and Capital Is Dead: Is This Something Worse? among other books and is a Professor of Media and Culture at the New School in NYC. When I changed the hormones that my body runs on, I changed the probabilities of the things that are likely to kill me. At least that was my takeaway from talking to the second doctor with whom I met to prescribe them. (Let’s not talk about the first one). The second doc was pretty matter-of-fact about it. I was increasing my risk of breast cancer. Well yeah, because I grew breasts. It also seems like people whose bodies run on higher levels of estrogen might get more autoimmune diseases. On the other hand, I might be lowering my risk of prostate cancer and heart d...

Month of birth influences adult life expectancy at ages 50+. Why? In two countries of the Northern Hemisphere–Austria and Denmark–people born in autumn (October–December) live longer than those born in spring (April–June). Data for Australia show that, in the Southern Hemisphere, the pattern is shifted by half a year. Worldwide, the average life expectancy at birth was 71 years (70 years for males and 72 years for females) over the period 2010–2015 according to United Nations World Population Prospects 2015 Revision,[3] or 69 years (67 years for males and 71.1 years for females) for 2016 according to a The World Factbook.[4] According to the 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) data, women on average live longer than men in all major regions and in all individual countries. A study has estimated very obese men aged 20 to 39, with a body mass index (BMI) of 35 or above, have a reduced life expectancy of eight years. ... Obesity in this age group is estimated to cause 11 to 19 fewer years of healthy life, which could have a considerable negative impact on a person's quality of life. Compared to drinking under 100 grams of alcohol per week, drinking 100 to 200 grams was estimated to shorten the life span of a 40-year-old by six months. Drinking 200 to 350 grams per week was estimated to reduce life span by one to two years and drinking more than 350 grams per week by four to five years.
