11 shopkeepers left Purola, govt tells state minority body In its first official confirmation of members of the minority community leaving Purola town following simmering communal tension since May 26, the Uttarkashi district administration in its report to the state minority commission said that "11 shopkeepers who sold crockery, furniture, quilts, vegetables, garments, ice cream and ran barber shops in Purola have left the town with their goods."
