We were 4 of us and the room was big enough for all of us (one double bed and two single beds). The room also offered great views of the mountains nearby and though the hotel is slightly away from the village, one can enjoy good walks there. Food options are limited but the taste is good. Had a good time there. Excellent food, nice and cozy rooms, kind and helpful staff. More or less like homestay. We stayed in a basic room not with great view. Since we were four and one extra bed was part of our package,hotel was kind enough to provide us with 2 extra beds. Heater available on request for 400inr per night. Hotel's good service ensures that guests are perfectly comfortable and feel well-cared for. There is no proper lounge for the guest. The washrooms are not properly maintained There were leakages in a few washrooms. There is no room service My room was on the first floor and I had to go down for a cup of tea at 5.00 in the morning. I was told by the person in charge to go down myself to have a cup of tea. I had booked a super Delux room but was alloted a normal room. The rate of the room was expensive as compared to the facilities provided in the hotel. There is no wardrobe in the room to keep the clothes inside We had planned our trip to North Sikkim (Lachen and Lachung) in March 22 through eSikkim Tourism and we stayed in Royal Lachen for 1 day. Although the hotel has spacious rooms (which had great scenic outdoor views), however the Restroom Geyser was not operational at all in our room which was a huge bummer in such cold temperatures (4 degrees at night). Delight Royal Lachen is a great Place to stay in a Small town .when the expectations was just normal ,we were pleasantly surprised to find good clean room , eventhough small ,toilet was brand new or possibly maintained like that ,even better than home ,the manager was efficient and resourceful person. First of all the staff was pathetic, unprofessional. Rooms weren't clean and toilet wasn't even touched, TV here didn't work because hotel haven't recharged Tata sky, after I asked to get it done staff make excuses that signal is not there then I walked to nearby shop hardly 30/40 meters there their TV was working singal was also there so I told manager about this then too he took this lightly then I had show him proof that you hotel haven't done recharge and you hotel are making excuses. Bedsheets were dirty and used and weren't change after previous checkout. Below I am posting some images as proof. Whoever reads this trust me this hotel very bad in everything. Don't book this hotel. I stay here on 3rd December 2021. Thank me later This hotel doesn't deserve a single star also. Reasons are listed below: • No power when we reached at 4:30 PM • Unprofessional staff mentioned the backup generator will start around 5:30 PM. • It was almost 4 degree Celsius and we were almost frozen.
