The Central Board of Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10, 12 re-evaluation and re-verification results 2023 for the 1st lot. Students who applied for re-verification or re-evaluation can check the results online at the official website – cbse.gov.in. HYDERABAD: Two students from the city, Narneni Mokshatha and S Shrika Rao, have secured 99% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 10 examinations, the results of which were declared on Friday. This year there is a slight decline in the overall pass percentage in the country - from 94.4% in 2022 to 93.1%. The overall pass percentage of Chennai region, which Telangana is part of, stood at 99.14%. There are about 240 CBSE schools in Telangana and about 40,000 students appeared for the examination this year. The Hyderabad region of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas has outperformed other Navodaya's in the CBSE Class 12 examinations The JNV schools, which are run by the ministry of human resource development, in the Hyderabad region registered a pass percentage of 99.85% as against the overall JNV pass percentage of 97.51%. A total of 4,611 students registered for the exams from JNVs in the Hyderabad region. Of these students, 4,594 appeared for the class 12 boards and 4,587 passed. "Of the 72 JNVs, 66 recorded 100% pass. A total of 69 students got centum marks in various subjects and 61% of students scored distinction marks," said T Gopalakrishna, deputy commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Hyderabad.
