Lee, CEO of B&C Content; Billy Acumen, CEO of BA Entertainment; and Sylvester Stallone and Braden Aftergood under their production banner, The original film centered on fierce and feared gang boss Jang Dong-su (Lee), who barely survives a violent attack by an elusive serial killer. With his reputation damaged, the only way for Jang to restore his image is to find the attacker and exact revenge. Ma Dong-seok (born Lee Dong-seok on March 1, 1971), also known as Don Lee is a South Korean-American actor best known for his supporting roles in The Neighbor, Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time, and The Unjust. He also played leading roles in Norigae, Murderer and One on One. Under his Westernized real name Don Lee and before he turned to acting, he was once the personal trainer of mixed martial artists Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman.

So there’s room for improvement when Sylvester Stallone’s Balboa Productions remakes the film, with Lee set to reprise his role as the gangster. The story is directed with stylish flair by Lee Won-tae, who learned his craft as a producer and story developer before directing his first feature about a Korean freedom fighter, Man of Will. His second film throws its weight entirely on the commercial side and its fighting scenes, generally hand-to-hand and foot-to-foot combat, have a free-for-all wildness aimed at the fun-loving midnight crowd.
