Donyi Polo Airport at Hollongi also known as Hollongi Airport or Itanagar Airport is the biggest airport in Arunachal Pradesh. The Airport is situated at Hollongi, a distance of 25 km from the capital city of Arunachal Pradesh, The International Air Transport Association( IATA) code of Donyi Polo Airport is HGI and its International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO) code is VEHO. The Airport Authority of India built the Airport in collaboration with the state government and central government, covering an area of 320 hectares. The Airport has a 2300-meter-long runway, a 5100 square meters beautiful terminal building to handle up to 200-300 passengers at maximum during its peak hours, and an air traffic control (ATC)tower.
