By Grace Cyril: Ek Villain Returns has finally seen a drop in its box office collection. Mohit Suri’s film starring John Abraham, Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria, collected Rs 23.54 crore in its opening weekend. On Day 4, August 1, Ek Villain Returns collected in the range of Rs 2.75 to 2.85 crore. With this, the four-day total of the film stands in the vicinity of Rs 26.50 crore. The film has come down by nearly 55 percent on Monday as compared to the opening day. EK VILLAIN RETURNS BOX OFFICE COLLECTION Ek Villain Returns made around Rs 2.75 to 2.85 crore on its fourth day, which is way below what it had to be. Hence, the total collection would now stand at approx Rs 26.50 crore reportedly. The first week of the film is heading towards Rs 31 crore and then, it will be a slow crawl to Rs 40 crore, trade reports suggest. While the first film of the franchise was about a conflict between a hero and a villain, Ek Villain Returns follows the story of two villains, with John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor essaying negative roles.
