It contains kojic acid, liquorice extract, niacinamide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid as active ingredients that helps make the skin smooth, healthy, and glowing. Ethiglo Face Wash contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta-hydroxy acids (BHAs) which are used to exfoliate the skin. Glycolic acid breaks the bonds between the outer layer of skin cells, including dead skin cells, and the next skin cell layer which creates a peeling effect that can make the skin appear smoother and more even. Kojic acid exerts a skin lightening effect by inhibiting and preventing the formation of tyrosine (enzyme needed to produce melanin). Niacinamide helps to protect the skin from skin infections.
