2023 Ford Everest Spied Testing In The US

Ford has a variety of utility products for the global markets and some of them are not available in the United States. The new Ranger – which was confirmed for an American launch – and the Everest are among those high-riding Fords we are still missing in North America. And while we are eventually getting the former, the latter is probably a no-go in the US but, for some reason, the automaker is currently testing an Everest prototype here. The reason? Well, Ford currently has plenty of SUVs in America and it will be difficult for the automaker to build a viable business case for the body-on-frame SUV from the Australian market. Probably the more important news here is that Ford is already testing the new Ranger on American soil, which means a debut and As for the Everest, the truck-based family hauler was launched in the Land Down Under this spring with wider tracks and an SYNC4 infotainment system. The engine range consists of a base 2.0-liter diesel with one or two turbochargers and a 2.3-liter EcoBoost gas unit. The range-topping option is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel and, depending on the engine, there is a standard six-speed manual gearbox or a 10-speed automatic. Driving The New Ranger:

Ford Everest 2023 review: Sport 3.0

The Ford Everest has plenty of appeal as a comfortable and capable touring vehicle, and while the 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo powered variants continue to build solid followings, everyone wants to know if the new 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 Everest is worthy of the sustained hype it’s received. I recently pitted the V6 Read on. 2023 Ford Everest Platinum Review

I’ve enjoyed every moment Of course, I wanted to challenge just how far the 21-inch alloys would limit its ability off-road. My adventure for the weekend featured a mixture of very light offroading with some proper city miles, giving the Everest the chance to prove that even in its luxurious guise, it’s still an Everest under the skin. Related: High Point Low Point Verdict The engine is strong, the interior is well appointed, and the folding thrid-row is spacious enough for kids with cup holders and storage. Ride comfort is lacking for an $80,000 luxury SUV. As it’s designed to tow 3500kg, the rear suspension is rather stiffly sprung for a family wagon. A great family wagon that’s designed for the classic Aussie road trip. Not the comfiest option around town, but if you’re looking for a vehicle that has the ability to tow a 3500kg van one day and drop the kids off at school the next, the Everest is perfect. Note: The 2023.5 model year Everest Platinum was revealed after I drove this car. The new model year car introduces some very small tweaks, including a new steel underbody protection and a black painted roof. This wouldn’t have any weight on my assessment of the vehicle. Ford Everest, SUV Based on Ranger, Debuts Everywhere but the U.S.

• Ford has debuted a new generation of the Everest, a body-on-frame SUV based on the • The Everest uses the same series of turbo-diesel engines as the global Ranger, as well as the gas-powered 2.3-liter EcoBoost expected to motivate the U.S.-market Ranger. • The interior is very similar to that of its truck sibling, with a massive vertical touchscreen in the center console and a new digital gauge cluster behind the steering wheel. The next-generation Ford The Everest shares its C-shaped LED headlights and grille with the Ranger but trades the truck's chunky front bumper for a more refined look. There is, of course, a cabin instead of a bed, as well as longer rear doors for easier access to the backseat. Horizontal taillights are connected by an Everest-branded trim piece. The interior also closely mirrors that of the Ranger, with a vertical 10.1-or 12.0-inch touchscreen in the center console and an 8.0- or 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster behind the wheel. A 360-degree camera linked to the screen helps with parking and traversing rough terrain.
