Hello Folks !! I ran into this error "system has been destroyed" when I tried to flash Stock MIUI 12 using Mi Flash with "clean all and lock" option checked, it seems if you have ever flashed a custom Rom like Pixel UI etcetera on Violet there's some encryption error or something like that. After that you won't be allowed to flash stock firmware using Mi Flash or even flash "vbmeta" from recovery, it will give you lock state error. Even if you try EDL flash it doesn't work in some cases, the service center tells you to change the motherboard. [FIX} : 1. Download the Engineering ROM for your device. 2. Flash the Eng. ROM using UMT ( qcfire tool ). 3. Then flash normally using Mi Flash tool, this will clear the "System Destroyed" error and give you locked BL. I will attach some screenshots below !!
