GMAP leverages geographical data, secondary research, and WWF and IFC expertise to identify and analyze supply chain risks to support short-term finance and trade finance decision-making. Country-commodity analyses assess country (and in some cases sub-national) environmental and social risks in primary production and assign a risk score. These aggregated and disaggregated risk scores can facilitate targeted and improved screening, assessment and management of environmental and social risks. To help mitigate risks flagged in GMAP, as of May 2019, GMAP includes relevant GMAP Tool & Reports Use this map to access GMAP analyses. You may create a free account to select a country-commodity combination and view its risk score, analysis report, risk management guidance, and a list of relevant sustainability standards available in ITC’s Sustainability Map database. The risk score can fall into two categories: lower-risk and higher-risk, represented in green and red, respectively. View the country-commodity report to understand how the risk score was attained, find out more detailed information on commodity production in that country, possible regional discrepancies, and certification status, as well as explore ways that production risk might be mitigated and managed. Access the certification scheme information to view relevant certifications from ITC’s Sustainability Map and compare them to understand how they address risks identified by GMAP.

It integrates with the Location module to provide users a clickable map for entering latitude and longitude, as well as to display maps of Drupal nodes and users.
