Graduation day speech by ukg students

• The UKG students at VSE had their Graduation Ceremony on 28/3/14. • Parents were most cordially invited to the event. • The mega-event got off to a colorful start by the Ligtting of the Lamp by the principal, the vice-principal, the pre-primary coordinator and Ms Anitha(Vydehi School). • The UKG students entertained the parents by displaying a skit and a beautiful dance performance. • The parents were welcomed to the event by a Welcome Speech given by the pre-primary coordinator. • All the UKG students were encouraged by the Principal for completing the pre-primary grade successfully. • The Principal then explained to the parents, the changes their wards will undergo when they move on to the primary section. • She welcomed all the parents to the Orientation program to be held in early June 2014 giving brief explanations of subjects, evaluation and assessment policy. • The Graduation Certificates were distributed by the Principal to the UKG students. • The Ceremony ended with a Vote of Thanks by the Class Teachers of UKG.

These days it is very common in schools, that every end of the academic year the kindergarten kids as they step in to class one, to mark the fresh academic year and to encourage kids, the school organize the graduation ceremony. It is one of the most important moments in a student’s life as it marks a transition from one stage in his/her educational life to another. Hence, the graduation ceremony is attended by parents, friends and well-wishers of a person. The major part of the ceremony is taken up by the distribution of degrees in the college level. But in schools they are distributed with results with Mentos to the students who march up the stage as their name and major is announced. It is a moment of pride for a student as well as the parents who look on with a sense of achievement as an academic degree is conferred on their child. It is a symbolic act that is done in lower level to mark the importance of education carrier of the kids for the future. Note : All students must be present, be wearing their academic dress (Graduation dress) and in their allocated seats in the veranda 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Ceremony staff will then provide a briefing (Instructions if need be) • May I ask the Graduation kids must to assemble in the escort place? The graduation day of the UKG sections was celebrated on 10th & 11th March’2016. The event was inaugurated by our school advisor Ms Laly Mathew & our principal Ms Sinia Sajith. The event started with a welcome speech led by LKG student . The student of LKG bid farewell to the “little graduates” with a special dance performance, then followed by the speech from UKG student about their “joyous experiences” of the past 3 years. They promised to keep their little lights shining as they sang graduation day song with lot of enthusiasm. Our little graduates looked impressive in their gowns & caps. They stood confidently doing their parents & teachers proud.

Dear Class of 2020, It's nice to see your faces at this particular time. COVID-19 has kept you home for about three months, and this fact alone has set you apart from all the classes that have graduated from this school. I still remember hearing some students saying “for the first time I'm dying to go back to school!" Fortunately, we have kept this pandemic under control and managed to make it back to school for the remaining three weeks. I am honored to be here to be part of this big moment of yours. Commencement is an occasion of feelings, a mixture of delight, and melancholy. I am sorry that your parents cannot be here in this hall to relish this moment next to you, but the sense of hope, I believe, will stay the same. Class of 2020, you are ready for this moment.
