Gujarat’s brightest and most talented shuttler, Tasnim Mir, has done it again! The 16-year-old from Mehsana has displayed maturity beyond her age and her exploits on the court has made her fit to be selected in the Indian Uber Cup Finals squad – to be spearheaded by Saina Nehwal – that will be played in Aarhus, Denmark from October 9-17. Tasnim, who is currently No. 1 in the Badminton Association of India’s U-19 rankings, recently won a junior international tournament in Bulgaria last month. With her stellar performance in both national and international tournaments over the last few years, she has shown that she is indeed a champion material.
